Rounded Rectangle: Located 13 km off the Salmonier Line (route 90) the Environmental Education Centre is a year round destination. Just one and a quarter hours from St. John's the centre provides an escape into the boreal wilderness. Located five minutes further down Salmonier Line is the Salmonier Nature Park. The park provides an opportunity to view Newfoundland's flora and fauna up close. Here you can see bald eagles, otters, moose, and beavers, all in one day. Also nearby is the beautiful WILDS golf course and resort. Further down route 90 is the Town of Colinet and the amazing Cataracts Provincial Park. Here two large bridges span a magnificent waterfall, with some of the best fishing in Newfoundland a short hike up the river.
